Ingredients: 1/2 cup sugar Directions: In a cruet or jar, combine sugar, oil, vinegar and salt. Cover tightly and shake vigorously; Mix all salad ingredients (except nuts) in a large bowl. When ready to serve, toss salad with dressing. Sprinkle with nuts, toss again and serve. Notes: Yield: 6 - 8 servings Dressing may be made a day ahead and refrigerated.
